Vilaad: The War That Shaped Earth's Future
Seventy thousand years ago, Earth witnessed its first great war.
It was not a war fought between the peoples of Earth.
It began between two alien species that had arrived from beyond the planet—and eventually drew the already-developed Hamans and Satans into the conflict.
This is the story of an era that lies thirty thousand years before the timeline of Orion.
It is the story of how life on Earth was created by the Equodians, how that life was designed, refined and developed under their guidance. It is the story of the Satans and their long journey from establishing permanent settlements to building their first great state.
And it is also the story of the Hamans—of a species that emerged from the forests, encountered the outside world, was enslaved and subjected to exploitation and oppression, and eventually found the strength to stand against those who had kept them down.
A World Where Two Species Were Still Learning to Survive
The story unfolds during a period when Hamans and Satans are living and developing alongside one another.
For a long time, their coexistence remains possible.
But gradually, their societies reach a point where surviving together becomes increasingly difficult.
The differences between them deepen.
Their interests collide.
Their struggles become conflicts.
And eventually, the two species stand against each other as enemies, each seeking to destroy the other.
The final outcome of that conflict leads to a separation that will define their future—laying the foundation for two species that will eventually develop along completely different paths.
The Arrival of the Bio-Ship
Vilaad takes place during the period described in the Orion timeline when a bio-ship sent by the Helbreads arrives on Earth.
Its arrival sets the stage for a conflict far greater than the struggles of the two terrestrial species.
From the skies come the Equodians, described by later generations as angels, seeking to stop the threat.
At the same time, the Helbreads—the beings later remembered as devils—send their own forces in an attempt to activate the bio-ship.
What follows becomes the great war recorded in the history of the Satans: a conflict between the so-called angels and devils in which the Equodians bring both Satans and Hamans into the struggle on their side.
What appears at first to be an extraterrestrial conflict therefore becomes a war involving the inhabitants of Earth as well.
How Life on Earth Was Refined
One of the larger themes of Vilaad is the development of life itself.
The story explores how life on Earth was refined, how intelligent species came into existence, how those species developed and how competition between them gradually began to shape their future.
Not every species survives that process.
Those unable to compete under the changing conditions gradually disappear, one after another.
Extinction becomes part of the natural history of this ancient Earth.
But these developments are not isolated events.
They are also laying the foundations for a future that will arrive seventy thousand years later—a future in which Earth itself will eventually be transformed.
The Hamans Begin to Awaken
The first major conflict in Vilaad develops between the Satans and the Hamans.
With the assistance of the Equodians, the Satans are advancing rapidly along their evolutionary and social path.
The Hamans, meanwhile, are still developing among them almost like animals.
But that begins to change.
Their self-awareness gradually awakens.
They develop confidence.
They begin to understand their own worth.
And eventually, they decide to stand up for themselves.
The confrontation is particularly significant because some Satans had already become difficult to control themselves. They were creating problems for their own society while refusing to regard the Hamans as anything more than insects.
The oppressed species therefore does not simply rebel against an external enemy.
It begins to challenge the entire relationship between the two species.
Two Alien Species, Two Completely Different Objectives
The second major conflict exists beyond Earth.
Two alien species have arrived from outside the planet, and their objectives are fundamentally opposed.
The Helbreads, known as devils, begin using human beings as their pawns while searching for the bio-ship that belongs to them.
That ship is not merely a possession.
It is connected to the transformation that will eventually reshape Earth's future.
The Equodians, known as angels, have an entirely different objective.
They are searching for their scattered people while also attempting to unite the Satans and Hamans developing around the Mediterranean.
Their purpose is to turn these two terrestrial species into allies in what may become the greatest war in Earth's history against the Helbreads.
The Road to the Final Battlefield
The conflict eventually moves toward its most dangerous stage.
The Helbreads have created what can only be described as a hell on Earth in the central part of the planet.
It becomes the place where they intend to gather their enemies and fight the ultimate battle for their own survival.
It is a place where even the dragon belonging to one of the story's protagonists finds itself helpless.
Every creature that enters must struggle for something as basic as a single breath.
Survival itself becomes the first battle.
And this is where the opposing forces must finally confront one another.
Can the Equodians, Satans and Hamans survive that place?
Can they fight the Helbreads on their own ground?
And, more importantly, can they stop the beings determined to activate the bio-ship at any cost?
The Beginning of a Future That Will Take 70,000 Years to Arrive
Vilaad is ultimately a story about origins.
The origins of life.
The development of intelligent species.
The rise of civilisations.
The beginning of oppression and rebellion.
The extinction of species.
And the first great conflict between forces that have come from beyond Earth.
But its significance extends far beyond the period in which the story takes place.
The events of this ancient era become part of the foundation for a future that will unfold tens of thousands of years later.
What happens here will eventually influence the world encountered in Orion.
The war is therefore not simply a forgotten event in Earth's distant past.
It is one of the events that helps shape the Earth of the future.
And at the centre of it all stands a question whose answer will determine the fate of every species involved:
Will the Equodians, Satans and Hamans be able to stop the Helbreads before the bio-ship is activated—or will this ancient war become the beginning of the transformation that will change Earth forever?
